Meet John Auletta
Technology Business Partner
John Auletta is a technology business partner with GreenBOLD.
He has many years of experience as an IT Director in corporate, public-sector and SME environments that makes him ideally suited to GreenBOLD. John has most recently been working with SEEDA as their Head of ICT, but before that he ran his own business providing IT and business consultancy to the SME sector.
As a result of John's background, he has extensive experience of developing business-aligned IT strategies, restructuring IT to fit a changing business landscape, project delivery, budget control, outsourcing and team development and management.
John also has significant experience in ITIL service management and implementing processes, policies and IT best practice including critical areas such as Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
John recently implemented a "Private Cloud" strategy for SEEDA to improve their agility to respond to business needs. The project included virtualising the current server infrastructure and the introduction of thin client to the desktop.
In addition John has also implemented a flexible working strategy for the agency to manage IT resources spread over multiple locations which has also included the implementation of a VoIP telephony system and remote access service.
Outside of work, John's interests include golf and tennis and ice hockey (specifically the Guildford Flames), and he also does considerable fundraising for local charities.
